About the webinar:
As cities expand, human-wildlife interactions are becoming more common, leading to increased conflicts and challenges for both people and animals. Knowing how to respond appropriately can make a lifesaving difference for wildlife in need. This webinar will empower you, our Wildlife Community, with the knowledge to recognize if an animal truly needs help, the steps to take when you find a wild animal in distress, and how you can help foster a safer environment for wildlife in your community.

What you can expect:
  • Become a Wildlife Hero: Learn how to assess whether an animal truly needs help and what to do if you find an injured adult or a seemingly abandoned baby bird.
  • Common Injuries: Discover the most frequent human-caused challenges wildlife face and how our team provides lifesaving care.
  • Growing Up in Care: From newborn nestlings to full-grown adults, our Hospital Team will share what it takes to rehabilitate young wildlife and prepare them for a healthy return to the wild.
  • Interactive Q&A: Submit your questions ahead of time to giving@wildliferescue.ca and we’ll answer them live.
